Layout equation
The calculator treats the two edge half-pins as one full pin width and solves equal full tails and full pins across the board.
tail_width = board_width / (tail_count * (1 + pin_ratio))
Pins and half-pins
Full pin width is the tail width times the selected ratio. Each edge half-pin is one half of that solved pin width.
Marking boundary
