Miter Angle Calculator
Miter angle depends on the corner and the trim mode. The working compound miter calculator handles ordinary flat trim plus crown molding laid flat with both miter and bevel settings.

Flat trim
For baseboard, casing and flat trim, the bevel is zero and the miter is half of the corner supplement.
miter = (180 - corner_angle) / 2
Crown molding on flat
For crown molding laid flat, the calculator uses corner angle and spring angle to return both saw miter and bevel settings.
Cut orientation
The calculator returns angle magnitudes. Left/right piece, keeper side, blade tilt and inside/outside setup still need a scrap test on the actual saw.
