  • Pressure loss uses Darcy-Weisbach with hydraulic diameter, room-temperature air viscosity and a Swamee-Jain turbulent friction factor.
  • Final HVAC duct design should also check fittings, transitions, diffusers, balancing dampers, acoustics, leakage, insulation, code requirements and fan static pressure.
