  • Opening height each = (outside height - top rail - bottom rail - horizontal divider widths) / rows.
  • Stock length convention: outside stiles are full height; rails and horizontal dividers run between outside stiles; vertical dividers run between top and bottom rails.
  • Add shop waste, tenon allowance, pocket-hole setback, cope-and-stick details, scribe strips and out-of-square correction before cutting finished stock.
